On Monday 19th October, MP Kate Green paid a visit to Afifah School. She spent the morning with high school  students discussing Women’s Rights (as 2018 is the century of female suffrage). She discussed the history of social equality of women and our students gave a presentation on the rights of women in Islam and the importance of the position of women in Islam. She also visited the Primary school and explained politics and inequality in an age appropriate way.
