National Storytelling Week
“National Storytelling Week takes place 
every year and is a celebration of the power of sharing stories. Stories teach us about the world, they allow us to step into someone else’s shoes and feel empathy, they help us to relax and escape and they can help develop essential literacy skills.” – The Literacy Trust
To start off 2023, Afifah High school girls took part in national story telling week. They had a week to share their stories and their creativity. They also took part in the “You’re Dead to Me” podcast webinar on the 3rd February.
